Asset digitisation is a cornerstone of Altr's lending platform. We offer two types of certification to provide varying levels of verification and valuation for your collectibles: Light Certificates and Full Certificates.
Light Certificates
What It Is: A Light Certificate serves as your entry point into the world of Altr's digitization.
How to Get One:
Submit a form on the website detailing specifics and proof of ownership of your collectible.
Altr's team reviews your submission.
If approved, a Light Certificate NFT is issued, comprised of:
A picture of your item.
A description.
An approximate value estimate.
Full Certificates
What It Is: A Full Certificate is a more detailed verification and valuation of your collectible.
How to Get One:
Complete Identity verification.
Request a conversion from a Light Certificate.
Altr's team contacts you for shipping your item to our partner facilities.
Your item undergoes an in-depth authenticity and price estimate review.
If you agree with the valuation:
Your item can be shipped to a freeport facility for secure storage.
A Full Certificate NFT is issued, attesting you as the physical owner of the stored item.
Costs and Benefits:
You are responsible for an on-chain upkeep cost for storing your item.
The first 5 years of upkeep are covered upon agreement, offering you a long-term storage solution.
By utilizing Light or Full Certificates, you choose the level of verification that suits your needs, providing a flexible way to convert your physical assets into a digital form suitable for use on the Altr lending platform.
